As the Internet and social networks develop one thing is clear – Facebook is king. Crossing 1 000 000 000 000 users (yes, that’s billion). Facebook page is where we all spending time online!

“Every successful business depends on people – Facebook is a place where they spend their time online. Or you will use Facebook and succeed or not embrace it and fail. “- Sean Malarkey

If we had to say in one sentence how to increase the activity of fans on the Facebook page, we would say it this way: Publish a regular, varied and eye interesting content through different times of day for one week and then when fans leave a comment, bite and encourage conversation.

This looks super easy, but below we will explain these 5 tricks to increase the activity of fans on Facebook.

Publish regular

The first question, what means regularly? Routine means to at least 2 to 3 times per week, up to 2 to 3 times a day. Some sites may be able to go over the maximum, but in our experience, do not go under or over this. Number of posts actually should depend on your content. Plan it at least every fortnight, if you can, monthly. Do you have enough to be interesting and varied multiple times every day, then publish often. Never, but never publish something only to fill the day.

How do you plan to make announcements? Simply, make the calendar for the month and decide on the main themes of your home page. After you select the topic, write posts and you will see how quickly and easily for an hour or two will fill the entire calendar of releases for the month ahead.

After some time, the most common problem is the lack of content. In this case, do not fill it with pictures of sweet kittens than stay on their topics. Reduce the number of releases in one week but make sure you always have at least 2 to 3 per week. Why? If you do not publish anything 2 or 3 weeks in a row, fans will forget you, Facebook forgets you and following your announcement will have a much smaller range than the previous. Smaller range means fewer likes and other actions that will make the fans and you will fall into a hole from which is very difficult to draw.

Publish diverse

Under diverse we are thinking of various facilities. Photos, the album with more photos, sometimes just a single image, links to content on your web. If you do not have your own web site, share links fromother websites that write about topics that have to do your Facebook page. And share videos, Facebook video, not link to YouTube.

You’ll probably say: “how do I produce video ?! I have no video.” You have! You have your expensive smartphone, record a short video of what you are doing. Discover a secret of your trade in ten seconds and there you have a video that will surely achieve success.

When you post photos, make sure to be better quality. Each photograph should produce a wow effect with fans and awaken in them something special to share your photo. Today, without a deep knowledge and with the online tools like Canva you can edit your photo to look perfect.

Publish at different times of the day

Make sure that for one week you publish in the morning, afternoon and evening. There are times when many of your fans are on Facebook, and these data can be easily reached through the statistics of your Facebook page, but note this: Some of your fans are online only in the morning, and some may be evening types. How the evening types will see your publication if you constantly publish only in the morning?

Mix it, so all your fans can one of your publication, please do not stick to one time of day. You may post at late-night to reach a small number of people, but looking at the percentage, the higher number of users may do the desired action on your publication.

It is easy to calculate. Take the number of people who did that action share it with the number of people who have seen the publication and multiply by 100. This number compare with the publication that you set in the second period.

Write short

Although some people like to read long posts, stick to shorter ones. Statistics still show that publication with 40 characters generate the highest activity of fans. Remember that people are always and constantly somewhere in hurry and do not have time for long stories.

When you write, imagine that it is heading for the news story. The title of your post. Short, clear and obvious. Now when we say obvious, we’ll tell you how your ugly appearance of a link with a small picture turn into eye visible link with the big picture. When you paste the link that you want to post on your Facebook page and see if it appears such a picture, or the picture does not appear, use one nice tool called Facebook Debugger. Paste your link in field and click Debug. At the bottom of the page, should showup a new link look. If you fail the first try, go back to the top of the page and click on the Fetch New scrape information.

Encourage interaction

Last advice. Encourage interaction and fans activity. It is likely that fans will start a conversation by themselves. Begin by some question in your post. When you get a reply in the comment, or a counter opinion, do not just click like and so kill the conversation. Tap, write your answers, opinions and new questions. Once you grasp the fans interact do not let them lightly!
