Although it’s being reported that Paris Hilton has signed to Cash Money Records, her camp has yet to confirm the news.
Cash Money’s CEO, Bryan “Birdman” Williams, announced on Twitter that Paris had joined the label on Wednesday, saying, “Lil Wayne’s Cash Money family has a new member! Paris Hilton: RichgangRichgirl.” And Paris told Showbiz 411 that she’s working on doing some house music with Lil Wayne. But apparently, the revelation was news to Paris’ camp, as a rep for the 32-year-old socialite said in a statement, “Paris Hilton is in talks with a number of record labels right now but we can’t confirm anything. When a deal is finalized we will make an official announcement.”

Paris released her debut album, Paris, in 2006 through her own label, Heiress Records. Paris featured hip-hop/R&B influenced tracks, and was met with mixed reviews when it was released.
Cash Money Records is home to chart-topping acts like Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Busta Rhymes. The label was founded in 1991 by Birdman and his brother, Ronald “Slim” Williams, and continues to be one of the hottest and most profitable music record labels in the industry.
