Celine Dion Husband Funeral- Planned Before Death- The Latest Details

According to the latest reports, Rene made a valiant effort to make his passing easier in any way he possibly could for his wife of 21 years, Celine Dion. "René was generous enough to prepare all of this since the last few months with Céline," Dion's longtime stylist and friend Annie Horth tells PEOPLE. "He didn't know when it would happen, but he really wanted everything to be already prepared." The funeral will take place later this week in the same church where they got married in Montreal, Quebec. Dion has made it clear that she will not be performing at her late husband’s wedding, which will be televised on three different networks, although some of her songs may be played. Hopefully Rene’s efforts to plan the funeral will help Celine during her time of grief. As RumorFix previously reported, the legendary singer lost both her brother and her husband in the same week, just two days apart. Dion’s rep confirmed last Friday that her brother was indeed losing his battle with his cancer, and had only a matter of hours or days at the most to live. Celine’s sister Claudette also confirmed the news during an interview with The Journal Of Montreal. “It looks a lot like René, he had cancer of the throat, tongue and brain,” Claudette said of her brother’s condition before his passing. “Our family is very experienced.” “He is 59 years old, very young to be the end of life,” she added. Daniel’s closest family and friends surrounded him during what would be his final hours. He is one of 13 brothers and sisters in the Dion family.
