Making A Murderer may be having the opposite effect on Brendan Dassey than the producers had originally intended for. The popular Netflix docu-series was made in an attempt to expose corrupt practices within our justice system and to hopefully give film subjects Dassey and his uncle Steven Avery another shot at freedom. But so far, no moves have been made in an attempt to get the convicted criminals out from behind bars. Rather, the notoriety that the film has brought the men might actually be putting their safety in jeopardy.

Brendan Dassey Safety Threatened After Making A Murderer

According to sources, the younger subject of Making A Murderer has been "quietly moved from one prison to another" and was transferred Wednesday from Green Bay Correctional Institution to a Wisconsin maximum security prison called Columbia Correctional Institution which is about 125 miles away. We're told one of the reasons for Dassey's move was due to threats he was "related to the convict becoming so high profile as a result of the murder doc.
