Evans further explains, "And come to find out it was 'my time of the month' right after I got out of jail so I was like'that's what's going on!'But now [my acne] is all cleared up...but around 'that time' my face just goes crazy!" Jenelle Evans Drugs: Is She Addicted? 'Nope!' Says Reality Star!

But as the saying goes, there’s two sides to every story, right? Jenelle paints a totally different picture, telling RumorFix EXCLUSIVELY that she was purposely provoked by her ex after he unexpectedly brought his new gal pal along with him to Jenelle's house to pick up some of his belongings. Evans tells us that she was only defending herself from Nathan's new GF. "I thought she was trying to attack me because she got out of the truck and came to my driveway, she explains. "I was defending myself -- my son was inside the house upstairs sleeping and I was not comfortable with these people just coming to my house." Jenelle gives us the play-by-play, explaining that she sprayed water on the girl after she felt threatened by her, and the condensation from the glass caused it to slip out of her hands, and then "it hit her head and landed in her lap." Once she realized what had just happened, a stunned Jenelle says she ran inside thinking to herself "'Oh my gosh,' because I didn't mean for that to happen!" She continues, "So then I was like 'Oh my gosh, I am going to get in so much trouble.'" Evans further explains that she then turned around to walk away from the situation when all of a sudden Nathan's new girlfriend "picked up the glass and threw it at me." She says, "I was surprised because I didn't think she was going to do that, so I went inside the house and then Nathan [told the cops] '[Jenelle] went out and attacked her!'" Jenelle's rep, Johnny Donovan, also came to his client's defense, telling RumorFix at the time, "This whole situation was a set up. This was provoked to make Jenelle look bad by Nathan bringing his new girlfriend to my clients house. Jenelle is a positive, focused mother. All she wants is the best for her son and to feel safe around her family and friends.”
