True Why Did Kourtney And Scott Break UpEver since news broke that Kourtney Kardashian called it quits on her relationship with long-time partner, Scott Disick on Monday,  the burning question on everyone's mind is obvious -- why did Kourtney and Scott break up?!  It's no secret Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have had quite the tumultuous relationship since first getting together in 2006. As RumorFix has confirmed the duo officially called it quits over the 4th of July weekend, sources are now reporting to E! News that to split was ultimately, and not surprisingly, Kourtney's decision. "Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old," the insider says of the couple, who share three children together. "Kourtney has to do what's best for the kids. Scott has been running around saying he's single," adds a source. "Kourtney dumped him after she saw the pics [in Monte Carlo] and he hasn't been home after a month-long party binge," adding that Scott has been spending a lot of time with people who "are not a good influence" on him and "not looking out for his best interests." As documented on Keeping up with the Kardashians, much of Kourtney and Scott's problems came from the father-of-three's problem with alcohol abuse. Kourtney Kardashian’s partner most recently checked into rehab in hopes of fixing his addiction as well as his relationship with the mother of his child at the Rythmia Life Advancement Center in Costa Rica. “I realize my issues are bigger than me and I’m ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle,” he said in a statement released by the center in March. Scott’s statement continued, “While I have been unconvinced in the past of treatment and therapy methods, Rythmia’s rehab approach puts my worries at ease. The fact that there is a money back guarantee that has never been called upon gives me even more confidence. I am looking forward to starting my therapy and iboga treatment there.”
