Exclusive Ben Woolf Memorial Service Friends and family said goodbye to American Horror Story's Ben Woolf on Saturday at a private memorial service in Santa Barbara, RumorFix is reporting exclusively. The services at Tuckers Grove Park were attended by Erika Ervin, who plays Amazon Eve, on the show and sources tell us FX, Ryan Murphy and American Horror Story helped pay for Ben's cremation. Ben was an organ donor, so his father Nick Woolf wrote a letter in Ben's voice to the organ donors. The letter read, "Hi' I'm Ben. I want you to know I had 28 years of extra time after my illness, but I've made the most of it, and the most important to me I know my mom and dad were very proud of what I accomplished, even though it was often really hard. Now my time is up and I am very happy giving you extra life too." Ben Woolf Memorial Service His father wrote these words while Ben was in the hospital but said that it felt more like Ben was writing them for him. Ben's publicist, Zack Teperman, spoke at the service remembering his last days: "Two days before his passing, Ben had come into my offices to meet with my team and myself about next steps in his career and how he was ready for more responsibility and action to take things to that next level. He admitted he was a bit shy and nervous before, but that he now felt the time was right to get out into the public eye more and use what made him so different to help change the views and opinions of others ... he wanted to use his new found celebrity status to do well for others, including animals, like his adopted dog Lisa." Ben Woolf Memorial Service Most of the guests wore red and blue, Ben's favorite colors and the colors of American Horror Story. Ben passed away last month after being struck by a passing car in Hollywood. He was 34.
