If you football fans can’t tell, NFL great Brett Favre is intense, that’s according to Entourage’s Rex Lee, who stars with the quarterback in a Super Bowl commercial.

Our special correspondent Mercedes “MJ” Javid from Shahs of Sunset caught up with Rex at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, where he was promoting the indy film Advantageous.

Like most of us, MJ mispronounced Brett’s last name and Rex corrected her, “He says Farve, which makes no sense based on the way it’s spelled.”

Brett’s last name is spelled F-a-v-r-e. “But I’m not going to question him,” Rex says, “because anyone in the world can pronounce their name the way they want to.”

The commercial they did for WIX.com, which is a free website builder, is hilarious, and it needs to be because it’s costing the company $4 million for a 30 second spot on the Sunday football game.

“It’s amazing, they flew me to New Orleans,” Rex says, “which is a city I’ve never been to.”

So what was it like working with the NFL legend? “Brett Favre is really nice — intense, but nice guy, he’s very smart.” The actor, who plays Jeremy Piven’s assistant in the TV show that is becoming a movie, adds, “We had fun playing together. He’s funny when he wants to be.”

Check out a teaser of the commercial, followed by the extended commercial below. And, of course, don’t forget to watch the Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday when the Seahawks go head to head against the Patriots.
