It’s official: Camryn Manheim loves Kevin Bacon.
The respected actress made her confession at Sundance after working with him on Cop Car.
The former Practice star gushed about Bacon at the Sundance Film Festival.
The film tells the story of a small town sheriff played by Bacon who sets out to find the two kids who have taken his car on a joy ride.
She told RumorFix, “It was such a great story, very human, line of exciting and kind of thrilling, and I was happy to be part of it.
“I have loved him since I was a kid, and he was a kid, and I have come to know him and his wife and they are just amazing people who are very philanthropic and very thoughtful, I love him, he is amazing.”
And these feelings are shared by Bacon who is excited by Cop Car also.
He said. “It was about reading between the lines because there are not a lot of lines for the guy. For the first ten minutes of the movie I don’t even speak.
“But I felt like there was something there to tell — as big a back story as possible while verbalizing as little as possible and that is an interesting challenge.
“I liked the script and the director’s vision.”
Manheim’s next project on CBS alongside Halle Berry is already getting a ton of buzz.
Extant — which is produced by Steven Spielberg — follows Berry as an astronaut trying to reconnect with her family when she returns after a year in outer space.
Her experiences lead to events that ultimately will change the course of human history while Manheim plays her best friend, Molly, who tries to make sense of what the astronaut is experiencing.
ManHeim revealed: “it it totally different. They are taking a 360 with it — it is going to be really cool.”
Extant is scheduled to premiere in summer 2014.
The L Word alum seemed to be having a lot of fun at Sundance as she mingle with fans, friends and movie makers too.
