Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’s Waka Flocka Flame spent a few hours in jail on Friday because he inadvertently tried to carry a gun on an airplane, RumorFix is reporting.

Waka’s wife, Tammy Rivera, tells RumorFix exclusively, “it was the craziest day ever.”

She says they have matching MCM backpacks and Waka picked up the wrong one for his Friday flight to Dallas. “He thought he took everything out of the bag, but it still had my headphones and my gun,” she tells us. Tammy says the gun is registered and she has a license to carry it.

She says she has it in the house for protection, but the couple is in the process of moving and she wanted to put it away from her child so she stored it in her backpack.

Wacka’s mom says he was back home in time for dinner and his bail was about $4,000.
