Chris Brown is no longer calling LA County jail his home.
The troubled singer was taken into custody Thursday by U.S. Marshals in an anticipated move to transport him to Washington D.C.
Brown has a hearing that he’s required to attend there Monday stemming from his October assault of a fan outside his hotel.
If the case goes to trial, he will remain in custody in Washington D.C. until the April 17 trial begins. He had previously been housed at the Los Angeles County jail after getting kicked out of his anger management rehab, a violation of his probation in the 2009 attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna. His next hearing in that case is on April 23.
