Kennen Miller couldn’t make the casting call for Lady Gaga’s latest music video, “G.U.Y.,” so the agents asked him to send a selfie.

“I had to balance my camera on a book and my toilet and do a timed picture in my shower because they wanted a white background,” the actor/model told RumorFix exclusively.

It worked!

The hunk with a perpetual six pack, who has modeled for Versace, Ben Sherman, Moschino, Facconable, Saks Fifth Avenue and Target, didn’t know the gig was with Lady Gaga until he was sent a non-disclosure agreement. “I signed it and my jaw dropped,” he told us.

Kennen has prominent placement in the video shot at the Hearst Castle  – he’s seated in the middle in a throne playing a clone. “They told me that’s where Randolph Hearst used to sit!” Kennen says. “It was neat to have his perspective.”

G U Y Lady Gaga

Kennen says he was honored to be in the video — not only because it was Lady Gaga’s — but because it was the first film shoot to happen in the Hearst Castle since Spartacus 50 years ago. Gaga is a huge financial supporter for the preservation of the historic home.

The hunk who plays “The Kitchen Guy” in College Humor’s wildly viral video “Gay Men Will Marry Your Girlfriends,” says “Lady Gaga directed the video and did an amazing job. She talked to me personally and told all of us models where to go and what to do.”

Gaga shouted out, “Donatella will love this,” after Kennen and other models posed in signature Versace underwear. Sadly, the 6′ 2″, 175 pound model wasn’t able to take any of the underwear with him!

Wearing a denim shirt and sunglasses, Gaga gave each of the 12 male models a kiss on the cheek when the shoot was done and she told them, ” I hope this brings you great things and more exposure and makes your careers take off. After this video everyone will want you — and I’m going to make sure of it.”

Kennen, who was part of the national Footloose tour, says she lived up to her promise and included everyone in credits at the end of the short film.
