Judge Joe Brown found out what it feels like to walk into a courtroom without wearing a robe on Monday and RumorFix has all the details.
The TV judge appeared in Memphis juvenile court Monday representing a woman and her son, but he lost his temper and the judge on the bench found him in contempt of court.
Brown kept insulting the magistrate saying he could only fine someone $10.
The 66-year-old, who is running for Shelby County District Attorney, quickly found out that he was wrong. He was forced to pose for a mugshot — as you can see, the TV star was still angry.
Then he was put in jail in protective custody away from the rest of the population.
The tough-talking judge ended up only spending four hours in jail — he was released at 7 p.m. local time on his own recognizance, the Shelby County Jail tells RumorFix.
