Judge Denies Chris Brown Bail, Will Remain In Jail For At Least Another Month

chris1Chris Brown will remain in jail for at least another month.

The 24-year-old appeared before a judge in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday in relation to violating his probation after getting kicked out of a rehab facility.

The judge denied Brown bail and ordered him held in custody until an April 23 probation hearing.

In court it was revealed that there were three reasons he was kicked out of his rehab program. The most disturbing one was that during a morning meditation he ended his affirmation with "I am good at using guns and knives."

Brown also reportedly got a little too friendly with female members of the facility's staff.  And according to the program he also declined to take mandatory drug tests -- even though his attorney Mark Geragos argued that he did take two tests while in rehab and both came out negative.

Brown has been living in a rehab center since November when a judge sentenced him to 90 days of in-patient treatment for anger management issues.  While he completed the 90 days, the judge required he stay on there until issues involving his October assault case in Washington D.C. could be resolved.

He was arrested and hauled off to jail on Friday after the court became aware that he had been kicked out of his rehab facility earlier in the day. His probation still stems from the 2009 assault case against then-girlfriend Rihanna.

RumorFix was in the courtroom Monday, where Brown  appeared in handcuffs and an orange jail jumpsuit.  His mother Joyce Hawkins was present for the hearing and before being led out of court by deputies, he said "I love you" to his mom.

This is so sad I really hope he gets his life together. God has blessed him with so much talent and I would hate for his blessing to go waste like some of the deceased late greats.

From Sen.Rand Paul to DOJ head Eric Holder, we all acknowledge that the Law is dis-proportionally hostile against Blacks in America. As a matter of FACT, this has been underscored time & time again in the case of George Zimmerman who shot & kill an un-armed little boy yet acquitted by the same USA Laws which has held Chris Brown for SIX years in limbo for the single incident involving his then girl friend Rihanna whose career has been pivoted to un-imaginable heights as a result of the incident & has since dated & become very good friends.

At the end of the day all Black people want isn’t pity or hand outs but equal treatment under the Law & a total abolition of all forms of discrimination. However “A tale of 2 cities” according to the recently elected New York Mayor Bill De’Blasio is apt in the case of Chris Brown because NO white man/woman has been to prison for the reasons Chris Brown is now. I have long advocated for constructive feminism & against destructive witch-hunting but Chris Brown’s predicament goes beyond the realm of feminism but back at the ugly doorstep of Racism.
