Joan Rivers is stirring up controvery again with criticism over a celebrity’s weight.
This time her ire is directed at Girls star Lena Dunham.
The 80-year-old comedian appeared on the Howard Stern’s radio show Tuesday and got into a debate about Lena flaunting her plus-sized body in nude scenes on the HBO comedy.
“It’s wrong. You are sending a message out to people saying, ‘It’s OK! Stay fat! Get diabetes. Everybody die! Lose your fingers.”
The Fashion Police icon did have praise for the actress/writer/director telling Howard “I love that she’s funny, I love that she’s done well. But don’t let them laugh at you physically. I’m saying if you look the way you look Lena, and that’s fine and you’re funny, but don’t say it’s OK that other girls can look like this,” adding, ” try to look better!”
