Eva Longoria thinks the private lives of reality stars shouldn’t be as off limits as other celebrities, because they already live their lives in front of the camera.
The 39-year-old actress made the comments after being asked about Khloe Kardashian allegedly having a live interview shut down after the hosts asked personal questions about her niece North West.
The former Desperate Housewives star told Aussie radio show Confidential on Nova “there’s definitely things that are off limits and shouldn’t be asked (but) I think it is different for a reality star than it is for an actor.”
“An actor goes out and acts and does work, certain things are left to be private,” she continued. “Reality stars are kind of living out their lives, that’s why they are famous, because of the reality of their lives.”
The radio show a had reason to be questioning the topic. Their interview with Khloe was apparently cancelled after Australian morning TV show Sunrise asked the reality star about North, which was apparently an off-limit topic. After being asked about the infant, Khloe kept looking off camera towards someone apparently signaling her then the interview cut off completely and never came back up.
A twitter war of words followed between the show and Khloe after Sunrise tweeted “we thought it was a technical glitch but turns out @KhloEkardashian’s people pulled the plug after @Sam_armytage asked about baby North.”
Khloe angrily responded with this angry tweet: “Why would I cut an interview short because of North? Get over your self Sunrise… The call dropped… stop reaching for a story. You are so f*cking desperate!”
What do you think? Is Eva right?
