Clare Crawley is speaking out for the first time since her epic dumping at the hands of Juan Pablo Galavis.
She made for one of the most memorable Bachelor finales when she told him “what you just made me go through, I would never want my child to have a father like you.”
“I actually feel amazing, it feels so good to have it out in the open and not have to hide how I feel,” she said in a live interview on Monday’s Good Morning America.
“Because of the conversation we had in the helicopter there was a doubt in my mind” that he wasn’t right for her because he told her “something that no one wants to hear, some sexual thing.”
“I think I definitely was falling in love with him. It’s a huge step for me to say ‘I love you,’ I haven’t said that in ten years” she revealed.
But she realizes now there were plenty of red flags:
“How he talked to me in Vietnam, watching it back now how he talked to the other women and just dismissed a lot of their feelings by touching them and just being charming … I think your true personality comes through in the end and I think mine did and his did as well.”
As for her current romantic situation, Clare does have someone special in her life, noting “I’m very happy which is a yes, but the good thing is it’s not on TV right now.”
And as for going on The Bachelor “I have zero regrets.”
