When David and Yolanda Foster’s Malibu mansion went up for sale Monday for a whopping $27.5 million dollars, we were wondering why they’d ever part with such an amazing piece of property.
Now we know the answer. It’s because of Yolanda’s ongoing battle with Lyme disease.
The affliction – caused by a tick bite – targets the skin, joints and nervous system. Yolanda has suffered from memory loss and difficulty focusing as she battles the illness.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told Good Morning America Wednesday that they had to put her 12,000 square foot dream house on the market because she no longer has the energy to manage the vast property.
But while they’ll be leaving the stunning shores of Malibu, she added “I really am not that attached to materialistic things. I can make any house a home.”
