Philip Seymour Hoffman Up Against The Wall

A mural of Philip Seymour Hoffman sprung up over the weekend in Manhattan's lower east side.

The memorial by Michael DeNicola (aka Ink Lungs) is part of the Centre-fuge public art project. Just a few days ago, Michael did a similar sketch and posted it on Facebook with this caption: "You were truly an inspiring artist Philip Seymour Hoffman."

Hoffman died of a suspected heroin overdose in the West Village just over a week ago.
