Chris Kattan Explains DUI Arrest: I Was Exhausted Following An International Flight

Chris Kattan is explaining his overnight DUI arrest and seems to be downplaying the serious nature of the crash.

"Those concerned or just adding gossip: I'm fine, passed all tests, released without bail, have drivers license, cop offered to drive me home" the 43-year-old comedian tweeted Monday afternoon after being released from jail.

"I just got back from a 15 hour flight after touring out of the country. I was exhausted. The Police were so kind. I'm lucky nobody was hurt"

Yes he is fortunate. His Mercedes struck a parked Caltrans vehicle with workers nearby. Luckily no one was inside the truck when he impacted it.

And now the former Saturday Night Live cast member seems to be playing the victim card, asking "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all."

Kattan is due in court March 3 to answer the DUI charge.

Failed the field sobriety test, which is why they arrested him in the first place, and released on $15,000 bail. Most likely failed any urine, or blood test otherwise he still wouldn’t be charged with a DUI and have a court date in March.

Cops don’t drive people they arrested home; especially in high profile cases were they don’t want to be seen as showing favoritism.

Don’t believe the rest of the lies about still having his DL. They immediately take that away after a DUI arrest.
