Justin Bieber may not have been drunk when he was arrested for DUI and racing in Miami last week, but he did test positive for drugs.
According to a police toxicology report released Wednesday, the 19-year-old had marijuana and the prescription drug Xanax in his system.
That would corroborate police reports from the scene that Bieber admitted to smoking weed and taking prescription drugs before his arrest.
The report also confirmed that Bieber barely had anything to drink, registering a .014 percen BAC when he took a breathalyzer test at the police station. But just because he wasn’t drunk doesn’t mean the D.A. can’t continue forward with the DUI charge since they could still maintain he was under the influence of marijuana and prescription drugs.
According to another report, “the officer who drove Bieber to the holding facility told him that he ‘reeked of marijuana.’” Bieber, according to the report, replied, “Yeah, we were smoking all night at the studio.”
The arraignment in the Miami DUI case is scheduled for February 14.
