CMT’s new hit reality series Party Down South’s Josh Murray is opening up about life on the show that’s making him a household name.
In a Facebook chat with fans Wednesday night he shared that the person you see on TV is the real deal, saying “they show me as I am” and that cameras were present in the house 24-7 while filming. And yes, he really does go everywhere barefoot!
He revealed his closest friend on the show was Walt, noting the “had a ton in common and got along great for the most part.” As far as who the 32-year-old’s favorite person on the show is, Daddy – a.k.a. Ryan Richards – is the man. Daddy was also the one that cracked everyone up the most when cameras weren’t rolling, with Josh sharing “he has no idea how funny he is!”
And he noted that people assume he and Mattie didn’t get along because “we butted heads so much. I love her though!”
Most revealing was what changed the Mississippi native most by filming the show, answering “my favorite part about this summer was changing my views on judging people, THANKS DADDY!!!”
You can catch Josh and the rest of the PDS crew in a new episode Thursday night on CMT.
