Justin Bieber is becoming Canada's most infamous star and America's biggest nuisance.

And, now there's a move to try to get the pop star departed from the United States.

An online petition, on the White House’s "We The People" page, has already gained more than 33,000 signatures in a few short days.

The petition reads, "We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture.  We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society."

The action against "The Baby" singer happened after he was arrested for drag-racing and suspicion of drinking and driving on Thursday. The teenager admitted to police he had smoke marijuana, drank alcohol and even took prescription pills. He was also charged with driving with an expired license and resisting arrest.

So can Justin really be deported? Let's examine this.

He reportedly is in the US on an O-1 visa (not a green card), which is reserved for “individuals with an extraordinary ability in the arts or extraordinary achievement in motion picture or television industry.”

According to U.S. law, Justin could only lose his visa status if he committed a violent crime with a sentence longer than a year. And, it appears that Justin's DUI may be downgraded to reckless driving, because his blood alcohol level was reportedly below .020, which is the legal limit for an underage drinker.

So, it appears, the singer, who is worth $130 million, just lucked out once again!
