Brandi Glanville Is Still Learning, Did Not Mean To Offend Over Child Molestation Comment, Says Friend

brandiBrandi Glanville came under fire Thursday after making"inappropriate" comments about child molestation during her podcast Brandi Glanville Unfiltered.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was interviewing comedians Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine, when she said, “I was actually stalking you online, Jim, and we have something in common! I, too, wanted to be molested as a child and was passed up,” she told Florentine.

Glanville continued, “My sister got felt up by a principal, and nothing for me. He didn't even look at me sideways.”

Florentine asked, “Did you feel hurt by that?”

“Yeah. Now looking back, I’m super-bummed. I was thinking, ‘All this and nothing?’ Super-hot and they passed me up!” Brandi quipped.

To Brandi's dismay, she received a flood of messages bashing her for her comments. But it didn't take long for Glanville to tweet an apology. "I'm sorry if I offended anyone with @Mrjimflorentine @PodcastOne interview My show is a COMEDY based entertainment show for adults I'm sorry," she said.

RumorFix also spoke to a friend super close to the star, who tells us, "She can't say or do anything right [in the eyes of others]. Her intent was to be funny and not offensive. She studied the comedians stand up routines and tried to pull bits from there." Our source continues, "This is all new to Brandi and obviously there's a learning curve. She's just going to learn her lessons as she goes and just keep being herself."

The insider adds, "It's hard though, she told me she really thinks social media is ruining our lives as she wrote in her book. She's such a fan of comedians and thinks life without laughter would suck. She's actually trying to get into some comedian sketches!"

I think one of Brandi’s problem is that the viewers see somewhat apologizing in one scene, then when she does her side interview and negates that apology as she did in the latest episode with Joyce. Even in her “apology” on twitter yesterday, she “said I’m sorry if I offended anyone with @Mrjimflorentine @PodcastOne interview My show is a COMEDY based entertainment show for adults I’m sorry” That’s not really an apology for what she said, so everyone is going to assume that she doesn’t see anything wrong with her child molestation joke. She always seems to add qualifiers to her “apologies.” I read some of the replies to her tweets yesterday and I agree, some of them go way overboard. Maybe she should just take a break from social media for awhile.

I totally agree. I guess she forgot children that have been molested grow up to be the adult listeners she has. Her friends should stop defending her because this person only made it worst. If she did her homework interviewing this guy, she could have opened up with giving him a chance to tell his story and spoke out against child molestation and concentrated on being funny somewhere else.
She is not sorry, she is sorry it backfired.

When do we say ok enough your apologies are nit enough. On RHOBH she is always “I’m sorry I didn’t mean it that way” come on you are a adult who know right from wrong. You cant use the excuse that you are Always inappropriate just own the fact that your a mean girl. Who does that who jokes about being molested That’s just wrong in so many ways. People have to stop letting her get away with it. Grow up Brandi stop the crap that comes out of your mouth. Would it be so funny if someone “touched” your boys.
