Paris Hilton is slamming the “stupid fake tweet” confusing Nelson Mandela with Martin Luther King.
On Thursday, an alleged tweet was sent out via Paris’ account on her reaction to Mandela’s death.
A photoshopped tweet from Hilton read, “RIP Nelson Mandela. Your ‘I Have A Dream’ speech was so inspiring. An amazing man.”
But it turns out, the socialite was just the victim of a Twitter hoax, and she was actually on a plane to Miami when the fake tweet was sent out. Upon touch down, Paris immediately got wind of the gossip and tweeted, “Whoever made that stupid fake tweet lacks respect to the loss the world is mourning right now. “Same goes for all the blogs who ran with it.”
By early Friday morning, Paris was still fuming over the hoax, writing again, “I’m so sick of people lying about me & using my name . Please get a life & stop talking about mine. It’s beyond. #URPathetic #GetYourOwnLife”
