Jenelle Evans was arrested in South Carolina on Saturday for ‘breach of the peace’ outside her North Myrtle Beach home after she swore at police officers.
But the Teen Mom 2 star still stands by her word that she’s a changed woman, and claims the incident happened because people are out to get her.
The police were called to Evans home twice after she allegedly got into an argument with her boyfriend Nathan Griffith.
Just hours after news dropped that the star was arrested, Jenelle took to her Twitter to say, “Dude u can say what u want. The cops r sooooo annoyed by my neighbor constantly calling the cops on our dog and sh*t.”
The reality star claims that her neighbors are just too sensitive when it comes to noise and that they called the police because they wanted to sell a story to the tabloids about Jenelle, tweeting that the mishap “Went as far as my mom yelling at my neighbors if they don’t stop [calling the police on them] she will sue them. She did it to sell a story,” Jenelle says, later adding, “I’ve been in my house all day long… She even said Nathan was outside yelling at my mom on the phone… Lmfao no he wasn’t.”
The pregnant reality star was taken to Horry County Jail just after 5 pm and released one hour later.
