The world was stunned when actress Brittany Murphy tragically passed away on December 20, 2009 at the young age of 32. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s report on her death pointed to natural causes, then later determined her death was a result of complications from pneumonia. There was no trace of illegal drugs or alcohol in her system, and the only prescription pills found in her system were treating a cold and respiratory infection.
But her father Angelo Bertolotti didn’t believe the ruling and gained access to the Clueless star’s hair, blood and tissue samples and had an independent lab do testing recently. According to an explosive new report in The Examiner, he now claims the results have come back that Brittany may have been poisoned.
Bertolotti sent the samples to a lab that found ten heavy metals in Brittany’s system, the same metals found in rat poison and insecticide. The Coroner’s office did not test for those substances in their original toxicology tests.
Brittany’s dad tells has long believed that his daughter and later her husband Simon Monjack might have died from toxic mold inside their Hollywood Hills home. Monjack died only five months after the 8 Mile star, of natural causes and a possible cardiac condition. But their symptoms before their respective deaths — headaches, dizziness and pneumonia — were eerily similar.
