Kanye West continues to prove his ego knows no bounds.
This time he’s turned his ire towards Louis Vuitton, a fashion house he previously had close relations with. Kanye even designed a series of leather sneakers for in 2009 that retailed at nearly $1,200.
He told 92.3FM in New York Monday that “while I was in Paris I wanted to meet the head of Louis Vuitton and he said ‘I don’t understand why we need to meet with you?’ I said let me explain to you why you need to meet with me,” he said before declaring to the audience that they need to boycott the designer label.
“Everybody in New York City right now, don’t buy any Louis Vuitton until after January.”
He said about the luxury brand “now do you wanna meet with me? Influence… they think that I don’t realize my power.”
Maybe the 36-year-old rapper is particularly cranky Monday because of the hilarious parody of his Bound 2 video featuring James Franco and Seth Rogen recreating scene for scene the video he made with fiancée Kim Kardashian. After all, Yeezus is not known for having any sense of humor.
