Blake McIver, who won our hearts as a child actor in Full House and Little Rascals, is all grown up and on Tuesday released his first single, Wish I Didn't Need You.
In an exclusive interview with RumorFix, the 28-year-old tells us that he funded the music video and CD by working as a go go boy in gay clubs in Los Angeles.
The openly-gay performer says his debut song "is about a heart-wrenching breaking." He says it's based on his own real life experience. "It's about my first unrequited love that was lost," he says.

Although the video features a same sex couple, Blake hopes the song can go mainstream because of it's blend of pop, R&B and soul.
Blake says go go dancing helped him fulfill his dream, "The tips were good. In fact, I raised so much money I was able to finish my record — mission accomplished.”
Damn, he looks good!
