One Glee cast member was noticeably missing from Glee’s emotion-packed tribute to Cory Monteith Thursday night — Dianna Agron.
When the show premiered, Dianna’s character, Quinn Fabray, and Cory’s character, Finn Hudson, were boyfriend and girlfriend and their relationship was a major storyline. She’s the only former cast member who was excluded from the show. Except she did get a mention when Sue Sylvester played by Jane Lynch remembered the time when she caught Finn and Quinn in a compromising situation a few years ago.
RadarOnline claimed that Dianna was “intensely disliked” by co-creator Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele — that’s why she was nixed out of the episode.
We’ve reached out to Dianna’s rep and a rep for Glee but no one is commenting. Dianna hasn’t posted anything on Twitter or her personal blog either.
We can, however, confirm to you that Dianna is still very close with the cast of Glee. Here’s what we know:
- She was at Cory’s private memorial in July at Paramount.
- She was in the audience with other Glee cast members to support Amber Riley on Dancing with the Stars.
- She regularly tweets fellow stars Amber and Darren Criss
- She attended Chord Overstreet’s performance at The Roxy in July and was seen hugging Jenna Ushkowitz, Kevin McHale
E! reports that the only reason Dianna missed the episode is because of a scheduling conflict.
