Following the birth of her fourth child Finn, Tori Spelling did a big post-baby body reveal on the cover of Us Weekly.
The 40-year-old was dressed in a purple bikini and touted that she’d lost her 45 pounds of baby weight, mainly by swimming.
In reality, she just wasn’t eating.
In her latest book Spelling It Like It Is, the former 90210 alums spills that she couldn’t exercise in the months following Finn’s birth for fear that her caesarean scar stiches would rip open. And even if that wasn’t a concern, she admits she hates working out anyway.
“I really don’t exercise much, period. So I took off my weight the old-fashioned way. I like to call it the Just Keep Your F**king Mouth Shut and Eat Air diet. It’s all the rage.”
But since doing a body reveal in Us touting “Bikini Body After 4 Kids” wouldn’t play well with the “I starved myself to look like this” headline, she reveals “my publicist had given me clear instructions about what to say about my weight loss. Women didn’t want to know that I had lost weight through dieting, not exercising. I didn’t want to be the a–hole who didn’t work for it. So I said that I swam. It was sort of a bad choice. I can’t do much more than a doggy paddle.”
