Former NYPD Blue star Ricky Schroder gave his daughter Faith a week off from Malibu Middle School.
The 12-year-old was not with her fellow pupils last week as they were relocated to new classrooms amid fears about potential contaminants on the Malibu High School campus.
A school source told RumorFix: “Faith Schroder was out of school last week.”
Many parents are concerned about the safety of the site after teachers had banded together to inform the district that several staff members working in the same set of buildings had recently been diagnosed with health problems.
As a precaution students were removed from these buildings while tests for mold, radioactive materials and other contaminants on the campus are carried-out by a team of experts.
Schroder – who found fame as a child actor playing Ricky Stratton on Silver Spoons and through films like The Champ – has four children with his wife of 22-years Andrea. They are Holden, 21, Luke, 20, Cambrie, 16, and Faith, 12.
Earlier this year Ricky directed daughter Cambrie in Our Wild Hearts on the Hallmark Movie Channel.
RumorFix reached-out to Ricky Schroder’s rep to ask why his daughter wasn’t at school last week.
