Jim Carrey Spends An Extra 4 Hours At Book Signing For Fans

About 1,000 people showed up to see Jim Carrey at a book signing at the Grove in Los Angeles on Saturday and every fan left with a smile on his or her face — here’s why:

The A-list movie star was scheduled to be at the Barnes and Noble store for two hours from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., but he stayed four extra hours — until 8 p.m. to make sure he signed books, posed for pictures and laughed with each fan.

The event started with Carrey reading from his children’s book, How Roland Rolls — using special voices (you’ve got to see the YouTube video) — and then he took pictures with every single child who wanted one.

The Dumb And Dumber To star didn’t disappoint his adult fans either. “He was so charming. He was acting like an actor who was just starting in the business — not an established Hollywood heavyweight,” an eyewitness tells RumorFix.

“Teenager girls who met Jim Carrey, were crying as if they had just met Justin Bieber!” our source adds.
