CeeLo Green put aside his judge duties and had to appear before a judge on Monday afternoon.
The Voice judge/mentor pled not guilty to giving a woman ecstasy last year before having sex with her, RumorFix confirmed.
The singer posted his $30,000 in court and his attorney, Blair Berk, assured the court that he would turn himself in for booking within 24 hours.
Things could have been much worse for CeeLo, whose real name is Thomas Callaway. He was cleared of sexual assault charges earlier Monday.
Berk tells RumorFix that any sexual contact was consensual, “We are pleased that the Los Angeles County District Attorney has completed its investigation and concluded that the evidence did not support the false and unfounded claims made over a year ago.”
She adds, “As it relates to the one charge of furnishing or sharing ecstasy, Mr. Green will responsibly address that matter in a court of law.”
He is due back in court On November 20.
