walt1One Breaking Bad uber-fan has paid nearly $10,000 for the pair of tightie whities worn by Bryan Cranston's character Walter White in the show's pilot episode.

The undies sold for a $9,900 at auction held in the show's hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico by Sony Pictures and ScreenBid, which gave fans a 10 day window to bid on items and memorabilia from the iconic AMC show drama.

The opening bid for the undergarment was just $250 so there apparently were enough fans who REALLY wanted to own Walt's meth-cooking underwear to drive the price so high.

The item that pulled in the highest amount was Walt's inscribed edition of "Leaves of Grass" - the Walt Whitman poetry book that played a pivotal role in the show's final season.  It sold for $65,000.

The auction raised around $1 million, which will benefit Goodwill of  New Mexico programs.walt
