Jimmy Kimmel got wind of Kanye West’s epic Twitter rant about him Thursday as the show was taping and we’ve got the hilarious video of Jimmy’s reaction to Kanye’s various accusations.
The Jimmy Kimmel Live host started out noting that the sketch that got Kanye so riled up was done in jest and was pretty innocuous. The 45-year-old host also revealed that Kanye had placed a threatening phone call to him shortly before the show began.
He starts “quick question: Did anyone else get a very angry phone call from Kanye West about an hour and a half ago? Just me? OK, I didn’t know if he was mad at all of us.’
He went on to say: ‘He told me I had two choices: apologize publicly … and that was really the only choice! The other choice he gave was that my life … “Your life is going to be much better if you apologize.” He also revealed that Kanye called himself the”‘most powerful voice in media.”
Jimmy then went through the various tweets with some pretty hilarious reactions. He wrapped it all up with “Finally I’m in a rap feud. Right now we’re at Def-Kanye Five: Thanks, Kanye, appreciate it.”
