Since announcing his retirement from Man V. Food, Adam Richman has shed a whopping 60 pounds!
But did Richman leave his hit show and lose the weight due to health issues? According to reports, yes. But according to Adam, no.
Huffington Post claimed in a recent article that Richman had “previously hinted that health was a factor in his decision to leave the world of food challenges,” but Adam tweeted on Saturday that the “health issue rumor is false.”
Since leaving the show, Adam tells People magazine, “People expect me to order the biggest, richest dish, but it’s nice saying no. I’m no human Dyson.” Richman says of seeing his overweight self on TV, “It was unflattering. It sent me into depression.”
