An Atlanta judge just denied Tameka Raymond on her request for primary custody after one of their two sons nearly drowned in a pool this week.
The exes appeared in court Friday after Tameka called for an emergency child custody hearing claiming the children are not in proper care while staying at Usher’s home. Tameka also claimed Usher does not keep her informed regarding the children, and that he took an hour after to call and tell her about the pool incident.
The judge ruled that there was not enough evidence to prove that the kids are not in good care under the custody of Usher.
“I’m denying dismissing the motion [request for primary custody],” the judge said, also telling Usher, “In the future you would be well advised to keep your former spouse informed about your whereabouts and about who is taking care of the kids.”
After what had to be an emotional week, the former couple hugged it out at the end of the hearing.
