Richard Grieco shot to fame alondside Johnny Depp on FOX’s late ’80s detective show 21 Jump Street.
But while the 48-year-old still does a few acting gigs here and there, his passion now is as an artist. Grieco has spent the past three years taking a break from Hollywood to focus on his artwork and Thursday night held his first one-man show at the Gallerie Sparta in West Hollywood, CA.
The event displayed one of his one-of-a-kind “abstract-emotionalism style paintings” titled Blue Jean Red, which actually features scattered pieces of the last pair of jeans Richard wore in the final Jump Street show way back with Johnny Depp.
So technically, whoever ends up buying the work gets to have a pair of jeans that shared scenes with Johnny Depp.
