Los Angeles paparazzi and gossip reporters were on full throttle Saturday for what they thought would be the wedding of the year starring Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux.
The photographers got their zoom lens cameras and rented helicopters to hover above Jennifer’s Bel Air mansion.
Why? Because they got a tip that the street in front of her house was closed from 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m — and because her hairstylist was seen going to her home.
Really?!? Because maybe there’s a wedding going on at my house every Thursday between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. when they do street cleaning there.
Plus, hasn’t anyone seen Jennifer doing press to promote We’re The Millers? I could have saved the paparazzi thousands of dollars, because she said, “We have yet to set any date … We just want to do it when it’s perfect, and we’re not rushed, and no one is rushing from a job or rushing to a job. And, you know, we already feel married.”
And, it turns out the party was for Justin’s 42nd birthday party. By the way, it’s also the one year anniversary of their engagement.
The guest list was impressive: Tobey Maguire, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi, Will Arnett, Laura Dern, John Krasinski, Dax Shepard and Jason Bateman.
