John Stamos turned 50 about a week ago — but he celebrated in style in West Hollywood Monday night and only RumorFix has details from inside the exclusive birthday bash.
The party created a perfect excuse for a reunion of Uncle Jesse’s Full House family — including Bob Saget and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Lori Loughlin, who played John’s wife on the show, tweeted a photo with Ashley, writing, “i had a great time hanging with Ashley last night! Such a beauty inside and out.”
Candace Cameron Bure, who played Olsens’ older sister D.J. Tanner, posed with Bob and John, tweeting, “Family Forever #johnstamos50 @johnstamos @bobsaget #RatPackTheme,”
And John’s Glee family was represented by Darren Criss and Kristen Chenoweth.
About 150 people donned black tie attire for the “Rat Pack” themed dinner, dance and roast at the Sunset Towers. A 25-piece orchestra played throughout the night along with The Beach Boys, America and surprise guest Sir Tom Jones, party guests tell RumorFix.
“John did an amazing job playing the drums almost the entire night — he was drenched in sweat,” says TV host Kyle Hunter, who was one of 150 guests.
Comedians Don Rickles and Jeffrey Ross handled the roast. TV producer Ali Adler tweeted that Jeffrey “made insults seem like compliments.”
The complete the theme, each guest was given a poker chip with John’s face on it.
When the event ended at 11 p.m. about 30 of John’s closest friends kept the party going in his suite until 4 a.m.
John tweeted “Had the party of a lifetime Monday night – everyone that is so important in my life was there. Especially my mom and sisters,” along with this picture:
