Reports that Gia Allemand’s funeral will be open to the public are inaccurate.
The star’s rep, Penelope Jean, released a statement saying that The Bachelor star will be laid to rest in a “family only funeral service.”
Although a date is not confirmed at this time, the ceremony will take place in New York at the Papavero Funeral Home.
Gia was found by her boyfriend, NBA player Ryan Anderson, after an apparent suicide attempt. She later died in the hospital surrounded by her close family and friends.
