Passengers on Southwest Flight 425 from Phoenix to Los Angeles got the surprise of their lives earlier this week!
Country star Gavin DeGraw performed two songs on the 57 minute flight along with an acoustic guitar player and a drummer.
“Good afternoon people of the plane,” Gavin, who is part of Southwest’s “Live at 35” series, said to the passengers. “If you don’t like music, I apologize you’re about to suffer with us.”
The platinum-selling artist then performed “Not Over You” and his new song, “The Best I Ever Had.”
At 35,000 feet in the air — he even joked with the passengers, saying, “Before we got on the plane today — we were drinking with the pilot and we were having a great time.”
He added, “We’re thoroughly enjoying our opportunity to take off our seat belts on the plane.”
