We’re getting our first look at Prince George since he left the hospital the day after he was born last month.
The future heir to the British throne was born July 22nd and Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton debuted the royal newborn upon leaving the hospital.
The couple has since been tending to their newborn at Kate’s family home in Bucklebury, England. But Monday the Palace released the first pictures of the newest royal and his parents at home and relaxing.
The pictures show William, Kate and George seated in a garden setting alongside their cocker spaniel Lupo. Another shot shows the glowing new mother and father standing and holding George.
The timing coincides with the release of clips from Prince William’s first sit down interview since George’s birth. The one hour special is a new documentary about his passion to preserve wildlife in Africa, conducted by CNN’s Royal Correspondent Max Foster. Prince William’s Passion: New Hope, New Father airs on CNN on September 15th.
In regards to his new son he beams “I was on such a high and so was Catherine that we were happy to show him off to whoever wanted to see him. As any new parent knows, you’re only too happy to show off your new child and proclaim that he is the best looking or the best everything.”
