Steven Bauer, who became famous in the 80s for his portrayal of Manny Ribera in Scarface, is now playing a very convincing tough guy on the Showtime hit Ray Donovan.
Although the first season is barely on episode four, Steven tells RumorFix he’s already filming the second season where he plays “Avi,” Donovan’s right-hand man. But Bauer is having a hard time juggling his work schedule, because he’s got three films opening this year.
“A film that’s opening at the HollyShorts Film Festival in August is called Last I Heard — it’s a gangster movie. It’s about an old gangster. Paul Sorvino is starring in it and I’m in it … I have another movie that’s a big fight movie, it’s for Latinos really because it’s about a Latino fighter and it’s called Chavez Cage of Glory,” he says.
Bauer says that you can’t miss him driving down Sunset in L.A!
“There’s a big billboard on Sunset with my face on it. I play his brother the priest.” Finally, “The Lookalike, which is a really good underworld movie that takes place in New Orleans and that, will come out this year,” he tells us.
