Queen Elizabeth famously remarked last week that she hoped Kate Middleton would hurry up and give birth, as she’s heading to her annual summer vacation in Scotland later this week.
She got her wish when the Duchess of Cambridge went into labor early Monday morning.
The 87-year-old monarch returned to Monday London after spending the night at Windsor Castle, traveling by car to Buckingham Palace. The Queen will reportedly be the first to be informed as Prince William will telephone her as soon as something happens.
Once Kate gives birth, a notice will be posted on the palace gates detailing the baby’s sex, weight and time of birth.
Stay tuned to RumorFix, we’ll be bringing you all the latest details of the royal birth.
