Film maker Michael Moore has filed for divorce from his wife of 21 years Kathleen Glynn, RumorFix has confirmed.
The director filed papers with the Antrim County, Michigan Circuit Court on June 17, 2013 citing “no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved.” The pair are both Michigan natives and have long called the Detroit area home.
This could prove to be a costly divorce. All of Moore’s hit docu-films were made during the marriage and Glynn was a producer on several of the films, some of which are Moore’s most successful including Farenheit 9/11, Sicko and Bowling for Columbine. Their net worth is estimated to be at least $50 million.
The couple has no children.
