Lea Michele Receives Cory Monteith’s Casket At Airport?

The passing of Glee star Cory Monteith has spurred a round of internet hoaxes including an alleged photo of the actor's girlfriend Lea Michele embracing her fellow co-star's casket at an airport.

It did not take long for the photo (and others like it) to go viral... but rest assured, the photo is a FAKE!

In fact, the touching moment was captured in 2012 when a distraught widow received her fallen Army husband, Spc. Jason Edens, whose casket was wrapped in an American flag.

Don't be fooled!

Monteith's body remains in the custody of the British Columbia coroner's office which is expected to conduct an autopsy Monday.

You shouldn’t do this to fans if this photo is a fake

No, it should not have been done because it is cruel to the individual who died and to his family. Television fans are secondary in this situation.

of course it’s fake. he wouldn’t have a flag draped over his casket. besides he was Canadian so it wouldn’t be a US flag and his body would most likely be staying in Canada where his mom lives not going to his girlfriend.

Wow… Incredibly disrespectful to the late Spc. Jason Edens and his wife.. People should be ashamed.

REALITY CHECK: It must have been so hard for him to endure the “suffering” of being “Young Hollywood”. To think, people in the world suffer with the indignity of injustice and disenfranchisement on a daily basis, and this Hollywood boy heroine druggie, could not deal with his “suffering.” LOSER!

Yeah…I’m not insulted by much, but as a military spouse, I knew exactly what this picture was the second I saw it. It looks as if, once again, an idiot has been given too much creative freedom to write whateverthehell. Exploiting a devastated military spouse at perhaps the most broken time in her life. Good going, moron.

This was a truly tasteless thing to do. Thats a servicemans casket with a flag draped over. Hope whoever used it rots in hell.
