The Royal baby is on it's way.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been taken to the hospital to give birth, RumorFix has learned.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted this morning to St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London in the early stages of labour," the palace released in an official statement. "The Duchess traveled by car from Kensington Palace to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital with The Duke of Cambridge."

Prince William is with her -- he's taken a leave from his job as a Royal Air Force helicopter search and rescue pilot.

Royal officials said that Kate traveled by car to St. Mary's Hospital in central London. Kate is expected to give birth in the private Lindo Wing of the hospital, where Princess Diana gave birth to William and his younger brother, Prince Harry.

The baby will be third in line for the British throne — behind Prince Charles and William.
