Cory Monteith’s manager may have captured one of the last pictures of the late Glee star alive. On Thursday the 31-year-old Monteith had dinner at a Vancouver restaurant with his manager and the head of a local theater arts charity that was close to Cory’s heart.
His manager Elena Kirschner of Vancouver’s Red Management tweeted a picture from the East of Main café in Vancouver on Friday stating “great meal w/good friends. @maureenwebb. Oh & this guy. @corymonteith.”
Maureen responded back with “thanks for a great evening. #inspiring.”
Webb is the co-founder of the Project Limelight Society, a free theater program “for children living in Vancouver’s troubled Downtown Eastside that seeks to provide them with positive, creative outlets.”
Cory helped launch the foundation last year with Webb, who he credits as helping him find acting as a calling. Prject Limelight posted on their Twitter page Sunday that “the world has lost a truly wonderful young man. We are heartbroken. Our love goes out to Cory Monteith’s family, friends and fans.”
“I think kids really need a place to go and feel like they belong,” Monteith says in a video posted to the organization’s website, in which he talks about his struggles as a child and the impact the arts has had on his life. Watch the video here:
